     This is my first book by Colleen Hoover and boy I was not disappointed. This book had me in a whirl wind of emotions. I had no clue where this story was going and I loved that about this book. One minute I think Its going to be a teenage love story, the next page my heart is breaking for Sky and Holder. It tugged at my heart and I could not stop reading it. I was so sad to be finished because I just wanted more and more from this story.
     Sky was the main character who brought feelings out of me that I didn't know I had. One minute I wanted to yell at her for being so childish and immature. The next feeling I felt was rage and sorrow that this girl went through all of this without ever really knowing who she was or where she came from.
     Holder on the other hand I loved him the entire book. He was an asshole at times, but new the right thing to say with any situations. He truly loved Sky and you could feel the connection between these two.
     I have to say I can't believe I have waited this long to read a book by Colleen Hoover. Ive heard such great things about her and her books totally stand up to all the hype surrounding them. This was my first, but will not be my last. 

Review of Dark Innocence by Madeline Pryce

I didn't think I could love a book as much as I loved Dark Cravings, but I was wrong. I also didn't think Madeline Pryce could get me to love characters more than Ella and Micah, but I was wrong again. From the first chapter I fell head over hill in love with Dante. Oh my goodness! He is the totally package. Not only is he a sweet and gorgeous shape shifter, but he is bad ass and will do anything to protect his lover.

Before this book, Hannah is in the shadows behind her sister Ella. No one thinks Hannah is tough enough or has what it takes to defend herself not to mention others. In this book you see Hannah in a totally different light. Hannah is not the shy, scared girl she was in the first book. This Hannah is balls to the wall and is spirally out of control. Hannah is all about drinking, getting high, and having sex with different men. She is coming into her own skin and finding her own voice as well. Everything changes in Hannah and Dante's world when they find out they share more than a friendship. 

Dante and Hannah's relationship really complement each other. They have a relationship that makes you extra jealous. The passion they share and the fire they have to keep one another safe is remarkable. I thought this book was Amazing. It has the paranormal element with shape shifters and vampires yet its got everything you would need in a sexy romance novel. This books make you just say WOW let me cool off for a minute. Madeline you have done it again! I cant decide which book I like best, but all I know is I am dying to get my hands on Dark Secrets. I cant wait to see where this story goes and the twist and turns it takes. If you want a book that has it all, this is the series to read. 

Review for Dark Cravings by Madeline Pryce (Book #1 in the Dark Series)

Ella Grey's life sucks. A half-breed vampire, she does her best to pass the time killing demons and secretly admiring her Shadow Hunter partner, Micah. He's hot, dangerous and knows it. He'd be just Ella's type if he weren't likely to kill her the moment she put a toe out of line. 

  

A chance encounter with a succubus changes everything. From the second the succubus' spell washes over them, Ella and Micah are helpless to keep their hands off one another. The sex, when it's not leaving them on the verge of death, is earth shattering and for the first time in ages Ella is connected with someone on a level she'd feared lost forever. But a dangerous prophecy has been set into motion, and if Ella's not careful it'll pull her straight from Micah's arms and into the deepest bowels of the underworld.

     I think I found a new favorite author. Madeline Pryce you have left me speechless all the way through this book. I have never felt so much passion and love between two characters. I have never found a book to where I truly loved and could relate to every character, but this book did just that.

     Ella and Micah stay at each others throats. The two shadow hunters have a love/hate relationship and can not stand one another half the time. One occurrence with a succubus will change their relationship forever. They are now binded to one another and the life is literally drain from them when they are apart. Ella and Micah must find a way to come together, trust each other, and take on whatever comes their way.

     Ella has had a bad relationship when she was younger and has no trust when it comes to men. She has been hurt and has a bad taste in her mouth when it comes to love.  Ella is a sassy, unforgiving girl who has no problem saying what she thinks. 

     Micah is a sexy shadow hunter who is very into himself. He is good looking and he knows it. He is tough, sarcastic, and doesn't take crap from anyone including Ella.

    Micah and Ella together make an unstoppable duo. Their chemistry is electrifying and makes you want a relationship like they have. They will put their life on the line to save one another time and time again. I have never found a book that made me feel so many emotions at one time. One minute I wanted Ella to slap Micah and the next I wanted her running into his arms. I never wanted this book to end and Yes it was that GOOD. This story kept me entertained from start to finish with that being said I was sad it came to an end.  Madeline thanks for producing such an amazing story and I can't wait to read Dark Innocence.
